2. Estimates & prices
- We check the lock or door and quote the price before we start.
- Written quotes for replacement hardware, smart locks and commercial work are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Prices and plan details on the website are general information, not an offer. Your quote or service agreement is what counts.
3. Approving work
Work starts only after you approve the price. If we find another problem during a visit, we will explain it and agree the price before doing that work. You may decline any recommended work; we will note it on your invoice, especially where it affects security.
4. Appointments
We confirm appointment times by phone or text and give a time window. Please make sure someone 18 or older is present, or arrange access in advance. If you need to reschedule, let us know as early as you can. Delays caused by traffic, parts availability or a previous job running long are not a breach of these terms, and we will keep you informed.
5. Safety & preparation
- We follow manufacturer instructions for every lock, cylinder and smart device we install or repair.
- Test every new key in each lock before the technician leaves, and keep spare keys and key codes in a safe place.
- Tell us before the visit if a door, gate or lock has a known problem, or if there are pets or children who may be near the work.
- Keep a copy of any key codes, app logins and warranty papers so we can work with the hardware you already own.
6. Plans & contracts
Maintenance plans, if you choose one, renew on the schedule in your service agreement, and you may cancel before the next scheduled visit. Some jobs, such as a master key system for a building, may need more than one visit, which your quote will state.
7. Warranties
Work guarantees are stated in your quote or service agreement. Guarantees do not cover damage from forced entry, normal wear, changes made to a lock or door by others, or areas we could not access.
8. Payment
Payment for one-time services is due when the service is complete. Payment terms for plans and commercial service are set out in your agreement. Accepted payment methods are listed on your invoice.
